This is an oil painting from the MCC Rose Garden Series - these are climbing roses in bloom, April 2023, in the Mesa Community College Rose Garden in Mesa, Arizona. This is one of the top test rose gardens in the country! Every bloom season (April & November), I take my students to paint en plein air in this garden. I have done many sketches on location and studio paintings inspired by this wonderful garden.
